1 lb. CHUTTER®, cubed
1 cup water
½ cup pizza sauce OR ¼ cup tomato pesto
15 slices pepperoni, diced finely (optional)
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. dried basil
¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese
For dipping: bread cubes, vegetables, small cooked pieces of meat, crackers, soft pretzels, breadsticks
On stovetop, combine water, pizza sauce or pesto and seasonings in saucepan over medium heat until it gently bubbles. Add Chutter® and parmesan cheese and stir until smooth. Stir in pepperoni if desired. Remove from heat. Serve immediately in fondue pot, chafing dish, or warm cast iron skillet.
Tip: This fondue can be customized by adding mushrooms, sausage, minced garlic, etc. Don’t like parmesan? Try swapping it out for asiago, pecorino romano or a smoked provolone.
